Image text: There's Livejournal drama between those who want to wear human suits over fursuits and those who just take off the fursuits.
Furries are people who dress up in colorful animal costumes who live for going to conventions to dress up in said costumes and assume their "animal" identities as the comic says.
This comic extrapolates that this group of furries like to pretend to be human. So, this group of furries are humans who like to pretend to be animals, which like to pretend to be human.
Livejournal is a hybrid message board/social network where certain groups of people with specific interests like to congregate.

To provide additional context, furries have, or used to have, an unusually strong presence on LiveJournal, and typically eschewed other early social networks such as Myspace. In a sense, a LiveJournal account used to be the closest thing to a “furry fandom membership card.”
Recently, FurAffinity has overtaken LiveJournal as the furries’ social networking site of choice.

A little additional explanation: making animal sounds in public is generally considered a bad idea by most furries, for several reasons.
