Dyslexics
by Jeff
Image text: And of course I had to redo this like three times because I kept writing 'UNTIE'; I kept doing 'doing 'doing it wrong' wrong' wrong.
The joke shirt is supposed to be "Dyslexics of the world Untie" because dyslexics mixed up the T and the I. In this case, the dyslexics were trying to make the joke shirt and mixed up the T and the I again because they are dyslexic.

Dyslexics have more nuf.
This is an actual shirt that I own.

I find these jokes meta-funny, because they always seem to manage ‘dyslexics’ just fine.

I know a guy who has a shirt with something along the lines of:
“I am dics..
dikles…
dislec..
I can’t spell!”

It sounds like the one from http://nopitycity.com/shirts/i-have-dis – although there are probably others like it.

No mention of doing ‘doing ‘doing it wrong’ wrong’ wrong?
I’m not sure what this is a reference to, if anything, but I’m guessing this is how someone screws up making intentional errors, but like taking it to another level. In any case, is Randall commenting on his inability to make ‘doing it wrong’ jokes funny, or his inability to make the comment itself funny?

I’m also thinking about the “doing ‘doing ‘doing it wrong’ wrong’ wrong” part. Seems to me that the original t-shirt is purposefully doing it wrong by misspelling Unite as Untie. Then he was trying to do that wrong by misspelling Untie as Unite i.e. doing ‘doing it wrong’ wrong. But then he was not doing that right so he was doing ‘doing ‘doing it wrong’ wrong’ wrong. I think that makes sense…

To me, doing ‘doing ‘doing it wrong’ wrong’ wrong sounds like a technique for memorization. Maybe one used by dyslexics. Would have preferred an explanation of that to the explanation of “untie” vs “unite”.

Actually, just read Kyle’s interpretation and I love it.

dyslexia can affect anyone of use but this disease is not very debilitating anyway.;.

there are many famous persons with dyslexia and it is not a debilitating disease. Tom Cruise is known to be dyslexic `-~

Audio Switch %0B: Are you suggesting that Tom Cruise isn’t debilitated?
