I know someone that at some point bought six identical cameras, so he could take test shots and measure them for "purple fringing" (which is a form of color abberation) and keep only the best one (returning the rest).

So in that case he didn't believe cameras could properly report how good they were (and might actually differ between identical cameras)

I think Sean D. Martin was not referring to Doyle's s narrative style, but rather hinting that Holmes and Watson are suppposed to be clever, and yet, Watson does not seem to remember they were sleeping in a tent.
Personally, I think "went on a camping trip (...) and went to sleep" is enough of a hint I one reads carefull enough. (Admittedly, I failed)

Yeah, actually LayZ has a fair point; it's ambiguous. I suspect the likelihood is that they did do it, or else Megan is just arbitrarily acusing them. More than likely she has reason to believe they did it (and it makes more sense to me that they are further tormenting her by intentionally misinterpreting her question rather than honestly misunderstanding her)

A side point - I know this is not the case in many countries, but in the US, family judges have no power to control what children are named. A parent could name the child the worst name imaginable, and no judge could change it until the child grew up and asked to have their name changed (or if the parents were abusive in some other way and the children were taken away). Actually, it is very common in America to name children after things that are not usually names, and many American names don't give away the child's gender.

plus, higher MP on a sensor of the same size usally brings a bunch of other problems, such as high noise in images.

Definitions (for those of you without several thousand photos on their external hard drive):

Megapixel: One million pixels. The resolution of images can be referred to in megapixels rather than a width to height ratio (for example, a 1920x1080 resolution has 2,073,600 pixels, or 2 megapixels).

Colour Aberration: Distortion in the colours of an image, causing colours to blur, extend, or even new colours to be created. This is most noticeable as purple or blue outlines around objects.

White balance: The global balancing of colours in an image to change the contrasts, hues, and brightness of sections of the image.

As for the line about choosing a camera based on the most MP, that's a common mistake of amateur photographers - choosing a camera based on the first number they can see (and understand), namely the megapixels. However, resolution actually means very little compared to quality. MP are generally the easiest thing a camera can measure, while the quality is considerably more difficult to compare.

That's not really true. There are rarely any clues in Sherlock Holmes books that would allow the readers to figure out whodunnit before Sherlock Holmes. It's actually pretty frustrating if to read if you're expect something along the lines of our modern cop shows that let smart viewers figure it out.

No. Since everyone is being so coy for some reason - ass to mouth is when you take you penis out of your partners ass while fucking and put it in their mouth.

Is that clear enough?
