Wait, this is space -- how are you talking to me? And, as an afterthought, what's up with the hole in reality?
Title text: Wait, this is space -- how are you talking to me? And, as an afterthought, what's up with the hole in reality?

Explanation

Megan is very unsure about what to think of her situation. Is it a dream? Is she in danger? She should be scared but isn't, and it does not feel like a dream, i.e. it feels real even though she suspects it is a dream. This would usually never be the case. If your dream feels realistic, you do usually not consider that you are dreaming.

Suddenly someone talks off-panel and tells Megan that she has been found. When Megan asks the speaker who it is, reality becomes even more distorted, and suddenly she finds that she is looking at herself outside the sphere. And the two Megans say hi...

In the title text, she realizes that if she were in real space, she wouldn't be able to hear any sound, like the voice talking to her, due to the lack of atmosphere.

The series was released on 5 consecutive days (Monday-Friday). All parts of "Choices":

As it is, the explaniation is only a description of what is happening in the panels. Try to explain the comic by considering what Randall wanted to say with it. What's the point of th comic? –St.nerol (talk) 11:32, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

You can help to explain this. All five "Choices" comics still do need an well explanation.--Dgbrt (talk) 17:42, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

I smoked DMT once and this happened to me. 184.66.160.91 04:29, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

Why are the parts where the circle touches the many Megan's outside red? Did anyone figure that out? Is it... blood? 172.70.200.143 17:51, 22 May 2022 (UTC)
