==Explanation==
Cueball is probably dreaming. He is starting to fly a kite, then he does fix it to a tree and after that he is climbing on that string. When he does reach a high altitude Megan does appear, hanging on a blimp. Cueball is wondering about her but he can't talk to her even he would like to do so. After she has gone Cueball is alone again.

The title text explains that you can lament on a bad conversation you did, but it's still more worse when you did not do a conversation.

		+	Randall's animation is taking place in a distant, post-collapse future ("distant" is relative, here-- say sometime in the next few hundred years, though possibly much further): human civilization is back at a late-Iron Age stage of development, though maybe with slightly more sophisticated metallurgy. The reasons I suggest this are: 1) rising sea-level that is on-going, 2) they can work wood and they have agriculture, 3) they have shown no awareness of any more "advanced" technology, 4) yet they have no qualms about wandering off into the wilderness without what most of us would consider adequate protection.

Although it's certainly a non-standard rhyming scheme (if it's AABC) and scan (7+7 syllables, or (3+4)+(2+5) or however you want to split it). It's pithy, which probably trumps strict adherence to anything like iambic pentameter. Maybe there's an argument that it's more musical, with a rythm of 4 groups of 4 beats ("sticks" and "words" extending over two of them, each, the way I'd say it). But musical lyrics and spoken verse are easily interchangable, and as long as it isn't totally 'blank' verse I'd accept it as a rhyme. In the 1939 version of ''The Wizard of Oz'', the Wicked Witch flies on her broom over the Emerald City demanding Dorothy's surrender, and the Wizard demands the destruction of the Witch with her broom as proof, in exchange for granting the wishes of Dorothy and her companions.
-The point of the comic is to show how easily Dorothy could resolve the situation if she was willing to forsake both her traveling companions and her pet.  She leaves Toto with the Witch, who will presumably do something unpleasant to him when she realizes that Dorothy has stolen her broom and she will also leave Oz completely at the mercy of said witch by giving her the Ruby Slippers and leaving with the Wizard.
