::"Simple English" isn't a special dialect or anything, but the conversation definitely has a simple, almost naive, style.  Lots of single-syllable vocabulary without much Latin-derived flowery or "sophisticated" words.  I counted 27 three-syllable words and one four-syllable word in the entire dialog, scenes 1 and 2 combined.  They don't seem to have a name for "sand dunes."  They talked about a river being "broken."  They are very playful, mature but child-like.  It gives the story a kind of alien feel.  [[User:Taibhse|Taibhse]] ([[User talk:Taibhse|talk]]) 17:27, 18 May 2013 (UTC)
