Explanation
"You have starting player" means what?

This comic is a take on the common plots of pornographic movies. There are several "stereotypical" setups for porn videoes - the suggestive pizza deliveryman ("hot sausage" being a suggestive pun), the French maid who finds out her master is home early and the wife is still away, and the plumber who, while performing routine repairs on a woman's house, becomes enamored with her. In all cases it is usually a simple plot in order to set up a scenario for the pornography. In this comic, all three of these common stereotypical plots seem to have occurred at once. Realizing that none of their intended targets for sex (ostensibly members of the Jones family) are at home, and thus they are all in the house alone with nothing to do, one of them grabs a game of Agricola (board game) off of the shelf, and they sit down to play, their confusion about this mixing of scenarios forgotten. Then the Joneses come home and are baffled by the assemblage of random professionals playing Agricola on their floor.

Agricola's objective is to build a stable family farm, contrasting with the apparently dysfunctional family in the comic.
In Agricola one can choose among certain actions with your (very limited) "workers" (Thus it's called a worker placement game). Those actions contain for instance "Take a grain" and "Be starting player (the next round)". Other examples are "Build a fence", "Take a cow", "Plowing" and other farm related things.
The starting player has the advantage of choosing the first item/ressource/action the next round. Once an item/action/ressource ist occupied by a player it can't be chosen by another player in that round. The game is easy to learn and hard to master since it needs a lot of planning and anticipating the other player's next moves. As such "scheduling" is a very important part of the game.
To make it short: Maid choose "Take grain" as her (first) action in that round, while Pizza-guy has chosen to be the first player in the next round with his first action that round. But it seems as if it was his plan to take that grain with his second action which is now denied by Maid.

The title text references "family growth", which could be interpreted as a cheesy euphemism for sex (in the porn-movie-plot context) or as a game mechanic for gaining another worker (in the Agricola-game context). The "not until round two" response could be used for either interpretation.

Cueball assumes it's a question common to all of internet-accessed humans, making it seem like a beautiful thing. In the end, it turns out those are actually helpless birds asking this question worldwide, not people. I'd advise you add a On the internet, nobody knows you're a dog reference.
The ice/catcher in the rye connection is far fetched. Judging by the Clark/Superman comparison, Randall suggests that birds turn into the rain as part of the water/ice phases and not hide from it. Because Clark doesn't go when Superman arrives, he turns into Superman. Dulcis (talk) 08:01, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
The ice/catcher in the rye connection is far fetched. Judging by the Clark/Superman comparison, Randall suggests that birds turn into the rain as part of the water/ice phases and not hide from it. ==Explanation==
Decide how to handle linking to original source website.
Cueball searches Google to find out where birds go when it rains. He finds that the question is asked worldwide, across different languages and websites, and that everyone wants to know the answer. A variety of screenshots are shown of different websites and forums with users asking where birds go when it rains, with at least seven languages shown. The bottom of this panel fades to white, suggesting that the occurrence of these questions stretches on and on.

Cueball says that worrying about birds getting wet is "the thing that unites us"; but the last panel reminds us that birds too, probably worry about it.

In reality birds, just like humans, seek shelter when it rains. Getting wet is not a problem for birds, but it does complicate flying. On a rainy day you can usually find birds in leafy trees, caves or other kinds of cover.

The lower panels turn the question on its head, pointing out that the question "Where do birds go when it rains?" is not just something that curious humans may wonder, but a serious practical question for the birds themselves. As it starts to rain around a bird, it flies down to a smartphone on the ground and begins searching on the query, ostensibly to find instruction as to where it should go. This could also suggest that the reason the question appears posted so many times, is because in actuality it is the birds who are posting it (since there are more birds than humans, this could easily account for the number of posts).

The title text whimsically suggests that birds might actually be an additional undiscovered exotic Phase (matter) of water (in addition to its familiar phases of ice, water vapor, and water, water does have more exotic phases such as Ice#Phases and Supercritical_fluid). If so, birds disappear when it rains because they actually turn into the rain. This is similar to how, in the Superman comics, Clark Kent disappears whenever Superman is around because they are actually the same person.
Cueball: "Where do birds go when it rains?" is my new favorite Google search.
Megan [off screen]: Why?

Cueball: It gives the answer, but also shows you an endless torrent of other people asking the same question. Pages and pages of them across regions and cultures.

[Megan enters the frame and shows interest in the computer]

Cueball: I love the idea that somehow this is the universal question, the thing that unites us. When it rains, we wonder where the birds go, and hope they're staying dry.
Rohkeille löytyy pihoilta suojapaikkoja. Ehkä linnulla oli oma pesäkolo. Siellä oli lämmintä ja kuivaa. Sieltä saattoi rauhassa katsella sateen vierailua metsässä. }}

Explanation
A restraining order is a legal injunction requiring a party to do, or refrain from doing, certain acts, under penalty of fines or imprisonment. The kind of restraining order referred to in this comic is one that forbids someone from getting within a certain distance of the other person, and is designed to safeguard the complainant's life.

But the joke in this comic is that Ponytail has gotten a restraining order against Cueball that requires him to stay between 500 yards (457 m) and 600 yards (549 m) of her at all times, which needless to say will cause a major disruption to his life.

The title text says he'll have to get up early on Mondays and follow her jogging course along a parallel street. Of course, such a restraining order could not exist in reality.Citation needed

A yard is a unit of length used in the UK and the United States, 1 yard = 0.91 metre.

Transcript
:[Cueball and Ponytail stand facing one another. Both hold sheets of paper.]
:Not content with normal restraining orders, my ex got creative.
:Cueball: Wait... I can't get closer than 500 yards of you... or more than 600 yards away?
:Ponytail: You'll have to move somewhere within this ring.

<code>Robert'); DROP TABLE students;--</code>, nicknamed Little Bobby Tables, is the youngest son of elite hacker Mrs. Roberts. His elder sister is Elaine Roberts. His "full" name is known to cause problems with some computers. When he was first enrolled in school (327: Exploits of a Mom), it exploited a vulnerability in the parsing of student's names into the school's student database resulting in the school losing all the student records for the year.

In SQL, commands are separated by semicolons <code>;</code> and data is often quoted using single quotes <code>'</code>. Commands may also be enclosed in parentheses <code>(</code> and <code>)</code>. Data is stored in tables of similar items (e.g. <code>students</code>) and individual entries are "rows" in the table. To delete an entire table (and every row of data in that table), you use the command <code>DROP</code> (e.g. <code>DROP TABLE students</code>). The <code>--</code> represents the start of a Comment_(computer_programming)#SQL which ensures that the rest of the command is ignored so an error will not occur.

The exploited vulnerability is that the single quote in the name input was not properly "escaped" by the software. Thus, when the name is embedded into some SQL statement, the quote is erroneously parsed as a closing quote inside that statement, rather than being parsed as part of the name. Lack of such escaping is a common SQL vulnerability; this type of exploit is referred to as SQL injection.

The name Bobby Tables inspired a website, bobby-tables.com, a guide for beginning programmers to learn the right way to avoid SQL injection in their code..

A similarly named character appears in 884: Rogers St., with the same code injection in his middle name. It appears in 1253: Exoplanet Names as one of the suggested planet names.
