{{w|The Core}} is a 2003 American science fiction disaster film that focuses on a team whose mission is to drill to the center of the Earth and set off a series of nuclear explosions in order to restart the rotation of the Earth's core.

The mission it only possible because of the development on "Unobtainium", a material that can convert extreme heat into electricity, as well as a laser-based high-speed drilling array. And it is also keeping the drilling craft intact as it gets stronger the higher pressure it is exposed to. So with this unobtainable stuff the mission it suddenly possible. Getting into the Earths core is more difficult than getting to the surface of the sun which is again more difficult than getting to Pluto!

[[Randall]] has now expressed his dislike and ridiculed the movie in several comics, or at least made references to it more than five times, and with the sixth comic to reference it [[2877: Fever]] it got it's own category.
