		+	:Define 'melt'. The body is a mixture of various solids and liquids (and, even initially, gases), such that raising the overall temperature enough to turn all the definite solids (bones, teeth) to liquid will have already boiled off most (if not all) of the started-as-liquid mass. And some of the 'solid'-to-start-with bits (flesh, in all its forms, which is basically pockets of liquid only given structure due to in 'bubbles' of cell-walls and microstructures within/between the 'soap bubble' stuff that those are) will significantly boil off, too, possibly, give or take the carbonisation (more solidifying!) of going past the point of overcooking it. Can it be said to have melted if much of the mass is evapourated (if not outright burnt) before you get to the point of melting the last remnants of anything that was hard enough to be consided solid. Which probably just has spontaneously oxidised, anyway?
		+	:Melting in the apparent manner of the Wicked Witch Of The West or (reversibly) Alex Mack/T1000 is entirely possible with application of enough of the right acid/alkili in the right way ('acid-bath murder' or {{w\|water cremation}} which chemically liquifies (still with heat, either applied or exothermically as part of the process), but you might consider that as not so much melting as merely liquefaction, and sufficiently thorough passage through an industrial blender might produce a (gritty) similar result, for all intents and purposes.

But the human body isn't at all one substance, and the overwhelming amount of what substances it is composed of don't ''need'' to be "thermally melted" in the first place, so it'd be easier to go the other way and conclusively make it all solid through hastily-applied cryogenics.
