Despite [[Randall]] being enthusiastic about receiving ink pens, he experimented them in a contrastingly depressing comic the subject matter dealing with how the uncertainty of time can bring elements that can cause a relationship to fall apart, a feeling made concrete when even the comic itself fall apart, representing their 'world falling apart' when their relationship does... Even the people's attempts to rescue the relationship end up in ruins, leading to the ruins of the individual and in one case isolation.
