This seems to be an allusion to the Voight-Kampff test in the movie Blade Runner. The test is used to distinguish humans from 'rehttps://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQSnmfu3YbtHUvZIiM1ITUlbH0IxxPCbqaS11pNQ2sTaUlGlJmCplicas' (artificial humans) by asking questions designed to elicit an emotional response, and then monitoring biological metrics in the respondent.
