Use in REDIRECT?

I tried using this at most recent comic to redirect to the most recent comic explanation, but it doesn't work. Is there any way to do so? J-beda (talk) 13:13, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

Looks like in mediawiki, templates can't be used as redirect contents. I assume that it's because the redirect markup is processed at an earlier stage than template expansion (which makes sense, I guess). I'll delete that page, since it's useless without this feature. --Waldir (talk) 16:41, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
I think I fixed it, but it is {{most recent comic}}, as in 2920 Jacky720 (talk) 21:13, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Page unprotected

FYI, this important template is not protected, and can be edited by anonymous users. -- 174.100.112.95 (talk) (please sign your comments with ~~~~)
