PROBLEM: In my opinion, the incomplete template has lost its original purpose. Instead of having factual information on why the comic is incomplete added or - even better - being removed once the explanation is finished, the incomplete template is being treated as a place to put witty comments. This overcrowds the category, making it more difficult to see articles in need of actual help or know why they need help. I'd also like to remind users that accurate incomplete tags are reccomended at the [[explain_xkcd:Editor_FAQ#What_does_the_incomplete_tag_mean?|explainxkcd FAQ]] - this is not just a newbie seeing problems where there aren't any.

SOLUTION: I'm going around the Incomplete category finding incomplete comics that seem complete to me and posting the following. If anyone wants to help me, they can add the below text (or something similar) to the discussion page of seemingly complete comics marked as incomplete. Please do not spam it or add it to comics that have good reasons for incompleteness mentioned. Once the issue is fixed, note on the topic that the issue has been fixed.

Current Project: Addressing vagueness of incomplete template.

Problem

People are putting CREATED BY A ____ jokes instead of explanations in the Incomplete tags. The jokes are funny and all, but it goes against explainxkcd good practice and makes it harder to figure out what needs fixing. I'm not angry at the jokes, I'm upset by the lack of information. See the examples below for clarification on what I mean.
