I am a wiki contributor and a huge LOTR nerd. I enjoy role-playing, Interactive Fiction, etc. I also have mild SIWOTI Syndrome and perfectionist tendencies. Current Project: Addressing possible overuse and frustrating vagueness of incomplete template.
PROBLEM: In my opinion, the incomplete template has lost its original purpose. Instead of having factual information on why the comic is incomplete added or - even better - being removed once the explanation is finished, the incomplete template is being treated as a place to put witty comments. This overcrowds the category, making it more difficult to see articles in need of actual help or know why they need help. I'd also like to remind users that accurate incomplete tags are recommended at the explainxkcd FAQ - this is not just a newbie seeing problems where there aren't any.
SOLUTION: I don't know. Please help me out here.
