Hi Jay. I think [http://www.explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php/Special:Contributions/JayRulesXKCD I can see] that you have set your editor up to auto mark any edit as minor edit. When removing hundred of characters or adding new sections that is not considered a minor edit. By the way I did the same mistake when I began editing here as you can see from [[User_talk:Kynde#Marking_edits_as_minor_edits|this (less gentle)]] comment on my user page.

By the way the reason I notice was that you have marked the comic [[596: Latitude]] as [http://www.explainxkcd.com/wiki/index.php?title=596%3A_Latitude&diff=126764&oldid=124801 complete after editing in] what I wished to know (i made it incomplete). And since you only made it as a minor edit I would not get any notification if I had decided to follow the page to see if someone helped me with the explanation. But I try to note down when I make a comic incomplete to get back later and see if it has been resolved. So thanks a lot :-)
