Not really, it's hard to get rid of this vandal when they seem to operate in multiple different IPs and the IPs they use seem to include IPs used by others before who did actually contribute to the site and weren't vandalizing it. I see you are disputing “Randall”. The coincidence that the account The_author_of_xkcd was created 4 minutes after the vandalusing not, and made its only contribution a few days later, just 4 minutes before the “Randall” made his first, maybe also points in the direction you are maintaining.
