:My only experiences in the post-whiteboard world, save for those business-sized paper-pads and those thick marker pens ('sharpies', though not yet well known by that pseudo-brandname), is to call it a cursor, because it ''is'' a projected desktop with a mouse cursor doing the job of pointing.
