IMHO the big Lebowski reference should be removed. Unless there’s something not mentioned in the explanation making it particularly relevant, such as the rug literally tying the room together in a similar way the black hole literally “brings the room together” in the comic. If so this should be mentioned in the explanation. Otherwise, it’s just one of many examples of a variant of this common phrase in use, and should not be mentioned in the explanation.
