How does one properly dispose of these? I have an emergency smoke"grenade" (it's just a tin can) that expired in or before 2012 in my car. Related question, what is the best way to improperly dispose one of those? :Probably need to contact your local HAZMAT for either smoke grenades or flare guns. Neither one would be appropriate for regular garbage or recycling. And forget about taking them on an airplane.
