I might have my own ideas about which to add to the current set, but I'll excercise restraint. And I would hope others do, too. As it's created...[edit]
So, what's the consensus on what should actually be included/given this category? (Popular 'interactive' ones? Certain infographics? Classics/famous 'ordinary' comics?) Should we consider careful choosing (voting?) to narrow down to no more than a percentile (which'd currently give us 28 of the current comic corpus to call 'the most popular', which seems about right as a hand-wavy figure) as candidates. And then do we even remove the one most out of favour if it looks like a new Popular comic should be added?
Only asking because... it's all rather quite subjective, unless we can get hold of access-logs (either explainxkcd or, ideally, xkcd.com itself) and base it on actual intentional visits (plus or minus the Random visits).
I might have my own ideas about which to add to the current set, but I'll excercise restraint. And I would hope others do, too. At least until we establish what sort of ground-rules we're working with. 172.70.91.241 20:05, 10 November 2023 (UTC)
