I know enough about the subject to appreciate the comic, and generally recognise the real vs. not-so-real things in it to a decent degree, but (as of my first viewing, slightly after the first linkless "seems to be about the weather" text went in) couldn't really quickly muster a decent explanation together. From the above conversation, looks like I could have spent time on it, but it was late night/early morning and I was hoping something better would arrive while I was asleep. (From the above comments, and what little has effectively been added, I was wrong.
