I can officially refute the mouseover text. Ever had wood alchohol? don't. Randall is quite possibly referring exclusively to Ethyl Alcohol, which is that which develops naturally in alcoholic beverages. Wood alcohol is an ungodly mixture of Ethyl, Methyl, and Isopropyl alcohol, the last two of which is inherently strongly toxic.
