If this is Madagascar, then it would be a fossa ... but the head looks too big and cat-like. Perhaps a juvenile cougar/puma?  Would help explain why it bit the backpack instead of Cueball's neck. Geographically, that or one of the ocelots / relatives would put us in South or North America. AH [[Special:Contributions/209.74.126.175|209.74.126.175]] 14:00, 21 June 2013 (UTC)
