So, they may see themselves as being weird or feel like something is wrong with them because they are not like the other kids. When most kids are younger or even into their teen or young adult years, they want to be like everyone else.
The aforementioned reasons are just the tip of the iceberg as to why a parent needs to be very understanding when it comes to their children and their hearing aid. Parents should let their child know that it's okay to be different and unique and make sure they understand the important of the device.How many people do you know who have some kind of auditory impairment, but they refuse to wear a hearing aid?
