Anyone want to talk? Here's the place to do it. --JayRulesXKCD what's up?

Things are quiet around here. Too quiet.
Too too quiet.

Why don't we fix that?

[edit] Announcements

Just letting you guys know I'm not dead lol. I removed my YouTube channel link from my user page because I felt it was time to remove unnecessary material from it so it wouldn't be so cluttered. That, and it's just a waste of time to keep a dead link up. (Yeah, don't ask me how, but apparently it's possible for some random nobody's Minecraft youtube channel to get hacked and taken down. Go figure.) Anywho, that's an update for now.

[edit] Auto marking any edit as minor edit

Hi Jay. I think I can see that you have set your editor up to auto mark any edit as minor edit. When removing hundred of characters or adding new sections that is not considered a minor edit. By the way I did the same mistake when I began editing here as you can see from this (less gentle) comment on my user page.

  • If you haven't noticed before then you can find and change the setting like this:
    • Under preferences (link at the top next to your name and talk page)
    • Switch to Editing tab (do not know if the link works like this for you?)
    • Un-mark the check box next to: Mark all edits minor by default

By the way the reason I notice was that you have marked the comic 596: Latitude as complete after editing in what I wished to know (i made it incomplete). And since you only made it as a minor edit I would not get any notification if I had decided to follow the page to see if someone helped me with the explanation. But I try to note down when I make a comic incomplete to get back later and see if it has been resolved. So thanks a lot :-)

And I hope you did not feel as uncomfortable as I did when I was told off in the comment to my talk page that I lined to .;-)

Cheers --Kynde (talk) 13:29, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
Sorry about that. The box was not checked, but I manually set a majority of my posts to "minor" as I did not think they were major posts. I just figured that a major post would be a large paragraph or something. I apologize for that. I'll fix that for next time. Thanks, --JayRulesXKCD what's up? 15:37, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
Hey as I said it's about learning. I thought the same as you. You could say that any time you change a comic from complete to incomplete or vice versa it is by definition a big change. But I think small changes are for copy/edit, rephrasing, moving one section below another, and adding a category. --Kynde (talk) 13:22, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
Got it. Thank you. Made sure not to make the same mistake when I was making the explanation for today's comic complete. xD --JayRulesXKCD what's up? 17:17, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
