Talk:Megan
Added a picture, started "Appears In" section, and added "Just Alerting You" as first appearance. Perhaps that's too early to really count for the character? Might be good to dig through the archives to find a more coherent introduction for the character. --SuperAce99 (talk) 17:27, 3 August 2012 (EDT)

- Sure, but Megan is the everywoman and could be different for every comic. aoijgpisbHtejsykl7ekderhtsjk6r64os4kys\\\[]jsrtjgdrght (talk) 12:54, 31 October 2020 (UTC)
Meganish?[edit]
Meg dons the black hat from time to time apparently... Nothing about this in her bio

Is Megan British?[edit]
I headcanon her as British, what are your thoughts? Caliban (talk) 09:30, 9 October 2024 (UTC)

- she just feels British to me, she gives off that kind of vibe. it's hard to describe. Caliban (talk) 18:02, 9 October 2024 (UTC)

- As an actual Brit, I don't get that vibe. At most 'mid Atlantic' (cosmopolitan eastern-seaboard/New Englander, perhaps).
- But I happily consider her to be a US citizen; could easily be mid-west, Californian, Texan or Nebraskan, frankly. Insofar as I have might or might not have the right idea about a typical flyover-state/whatever-other-state character might be like (perhaps a bit better idea, from US media, than the typical leftpondian has about a person from Wigan or Livingston or (the original) Boston or Richmond (either Yorkshire or Thames Valley, rather than VA, CA or BC) or Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch or Ae).
- Black Hat, I probably give a hard-nosed Bostonian accent to (or, at least, that generic 'holywood East-Coast blurred inner-cities blurred into one' bit, but certainly not full on NY/NJ stereotype instead). Beret Guy, maybe something a bit San Angelese-ish (new-age mixed with 'tech startup' vibes). Cueball has got to sound like Randall sounds, of course.
- But, in general, I don't have many strong pointers towards what impression I should have in mind for most (original) characters. Except that I'm content to consider them all to be from over there than over here. In fact, I'd have a hard time adjusting if I discovered any of them were supposed to be from Aberdeen or Aberystwyth, Truro or Thurso. Washington DC would be believable, Washington T&W would not. 172.70.91.78 21:20, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
