I know enough about the subject to appreciate the comic, and generally recognise the real vs. not-so-real things in it to a decent degree, but (as of my first viewing, slightly after the first linkless "seems to be about the weather" text went in) couldn't really quickly muster a decent explanation together. From the above conversation, looks like I could have spent time on it, but it was late night/early morning and I was hoping something better would arrive while I was asleep. I wondered whether the timing of this may be related to the recent publishing of a log-log chart by the Economist newspaper called "The Chart of Everything" (https://www.economist.com/interactive/christmas-specials/2024/12/21/the-chart-of-everything) based on the paper "All objects and some questions" (https://pubs.aip.org/aapt/ajp/article/91/10/819/2911822/All-objects-and-some-questions). The former is (as expected) hidden behind a pester-/registration-/pay-wall that I'm not going to take the time and effort to navigate past/through. Maybe the second isn't, but want to recover from the experience of the first one, first. But, without breaking copyright rules, it could have been better if you had chosen a different link in the initial case.
