I'm not brave enough to actually add an explanation myself, quite yet, but ... I suspect it's more due to the need to drill through a couple miles of ice to get to the ocean; much like breaking through the sugar crust on a creme broule!Seebert (talk) 13:16, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
