At the beginning of 2025, Randall published the first comic in the Home inspections series, 3037: Radon, where Ponytail inspects Cueball's house and finds problems using a small handheld device. All the problems, however, relate to the planet the house is built on and not the building itself. Randall then publishes three additional instalments, all in the same setting and featuring the same device. Only time will tell if this will be an ongoing series, or stop with just those four. This is the first new comic series since Cursed Connectors which began in 2021, and the first where the two comics follow each other like an actual series since Alien Visitors which came out a bit earlier in 2021. Shortly after this series was started another comic, 3070: Orogeny, followed with a similar look on geology as part of house buying. Although that comic is reminiscent of the Home inspections comics, there is no home to inspect, thus it is not part of this series. The comic 3051: Hardwood is also playing with these ideas, but that one is without Ponytail and follows a different one-panel format.
