Donald Trump is an American politician, media personality, and businessperson who served as the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021 and will serve again from 2025 to 2029 as the 47th president. He won the 2016 election as a Republican with controversial policies. His presidency involved actions like travel bans, border wall funding, tax cuts, Supreme Court appointments, environmental deregulation, and strained international relations. After losing the 2020 election, he faced impeachments and legal issues, but continued political involvement. Amidst multiple indictments in 2023 he announced his candidacy for the 2024 election, which he won.
